These terms govern your use of Widgy — the form builder your AI uses. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Last updated July 2026Widgy (“Widgy”, “we”, “us”) provides a hosted service for building and sharing step-form forms, including a Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoint that lets your AI assistant create and manage those forms on your behalf. These terms form an agreement between you and Widgy.
You sign in with an email address, and authentication is handled by our identity provider. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Widgy.
You may use Widgy to build and share forms for lawful purposes. You agree not to use it to collect data unlawfully, to send spam, to impersonate others, to infringe intellectual property, or to attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
You own the forms you create and the responses you collect. You are the controller of any personal data your respondents submit, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for telling your respondents how you will use it. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process, and display that content so we can run the service for you.
Respondent-submitted text may be surfaced to your AI assistant through the MCP tools. Treat it as untrusted input, as you would any data from the public internet.
When you connect an MCP client, you authorise it to act on your account — creating, editing, publishing, ending, and reading forms and responses. Actions taken by a connected client are treated as your actions. You are responsible for what you connect and authorise.
We work to keep Widgy available and reliable, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may perform maintenance that affects availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Widgy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using Widgy at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that creates risk for us or other users.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
